They’re not rejecting me, they’re passing on my work. It still stings. Like today when I received not one but two passes. One from an editor by mail, another from an agent by e-mail. Ouch!
I’ll let their comments ‘stew’ for a bit while I finish the requested edits on another project. Gotta keep trying, though some days I could use a glimmer of hope.
