Is it just me, or do other writers out there have a hard time coming up with a plot that won’t make the reader yawn?
When I first get the idea for a book, I usually have a scene come to me. I can see the emotional conflict right away, but not always motivation behind the goal. I also have trouble giving the H & h enough of an external conflict. Darn it, I want them to get together and be happy. Why do I have to torture them first?

>Plot. Oooh that’s a dirty 4 letter word. Plotting used to always be my weak point. I’ve spent years studying how to do it. I found out early that I couldn’t rely on seat of the pants plotting the way some talented people do. I have to plan it out. Personally, I use the 3 act play structure. Each person has to do it their own way though. I read most of one of your books and it had a great plot as I remember.
