I’ve been mentioning along the way the renovation project DH & I have been doing on his old home place in Arkansas. It’s finally finished. While the walls may look white, they actually have a tinge of color and it’s called Swiss Coffee.
Here’s the bathroom before and after. That’s not an optical illusion in the before. The bathtub was really sinking through the floor. And in the after pic? Again not an optical illusion. The shower rod is curved out to allow more bathing room. DH did all the tile work here and in the kitchen.
And here’s the kitchen before:
and after:
And here’s the Pepto Bismol room w/ indoor-outdoor carpet and no closet doors. Lovely, eh?
Here it is after, with Berber and bi-fold closet doors. Yes, yours truly personally painted every wall, closet, door and trim board in the entire house, thank you very much!
Even the back porch was transformed with fresh paint, a new ceiling, light fixture and new steps.
We’re both glad this project is finished! Now it’s a sweet little country home awaiting it’s new owners with a few acres in back.
Now to finish doing the same thing to my manuscript, although I don’t think it could possibly be as U-gly as this house was to start with.
Wish me luck!
>Carol it looks great! Now will you come finish my house?
