WOW! Life certainly threw Kate and Rio some curves. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to lose your parents at a young age or to have an abusive parent. I hope Kate finishes college and allows Rio and her new baby into her heart. It sounds like an extremely emotional story.

Unfortunately, I lost my dad when I was nine, so I can imagine. Thankfully, my parents were loving, but I’ve had friends who didn’t have such a great home life. I drew on those memories for Kate and Rio. Thanks for your comments. 🙂

This is an irresistible combination for a story. Baby born for the right reasons, needing loving parents, bringing together two people who would otherwise never ever consider raising a child…awesome! It gives me giddy goosebumps!!
