Friday, on our way home from Tulsa, we learned that there was a glitch in our new puppy’s traveling plans and he wouldn’t be flying in to join us until Saturday. Then the President’s flight in Minnesota caused a delay and our puppy missed his connection from Boise, putting him into Dulles at 11 p.m instead of 6:30.
We were worried that at just 7 weeks old he would soil his kennel after being in it for about 12 hours, but he came to us smelling like a sweet puppy with only small whimpers to communicate his distress. What a champ.
He’s cute and cuddly and everything a puppy should be to make us fall in love with him enough that we can endure all the trials that puppies can bring. This is Guinness, the newest 4-legged member of our family. I’m quite sure you can expect more on this subject in the future. 😉
