No weekly update

Hey, that doesn’t mean I haven’t been productive. I’ve re-plotted, taken stock, pondered and even re-wrote Ch. 1. Whew! All that while fighting that dang Doubt Demon that seems to think he’s found a home.

Where’s Jake, Tick and Odil when you need them? Out chasing fast women, no doubt. That’s okay, Mason’s hanging in there. He’s still scowling over the wimpy behavior I tried to foist on him, but we’re cool–sorta. Now there’s heavy denial going on and he’s all worked up about not getting any for awhile. Silly man. It’s a Desire. He won’t go without for long.

Weekly Update 6-18-05

Well, it’s that time again. Made a little more progress last week. Would have done better, but got bogged down by the doubt demon. Still trying to throw him off. Reading more Desires, picking them apart, and trying to compare my WIP to what I’m seeing.

A fine read

Today was a day for reading. My thanks to fellow GRW author Patti Callahan Henry for a most enjoyable read in Where the River Runs. Meridy’s re-discovery of self despite the possible consequences was gutsy and heart-wrenching at the same time. I am in awe of Patti’s talent.
