Today I get my first interview.

It’s been a productive weekend, rainy and quiet. I only got 5 pgs done on RTP, but I’m almost caught up on crits. Did 4 more this weekend. 2 more to go. Tomorrow is my critique meeting with two new CP’s. Only time will tell if it’s a good match or if we’re not all suited.
This may be my last post this week. DH and I are heading to a retreat for a few days. He’ll be required to attend some meetings, so I’ll take my Alphasmart and notes, and enjoy the outdoors. Maybe a change of scenery will spark creativity. I’m also going to take a couple books to read.
Gotta get a gazillion things done before tomorrow a.m.

My contracts are signed for P&F and will go out in the mail tomorrow. 😀 I’m making progress on a new WIP, and am excited about the new chapter of RWA that Sylvia is trying to get approved for those of us who write the sexier romances. Kudos to her and all the wonderful ladies that have pitched in and worked so hard to make the endeavor a success.
It’s amazing the information that’s coming out of the forum for that chapter and the comraderie that’s formed among kindred spirits already. Someone came up with the brilliant idea (no, I really mean that) to call the group Passionate Ink: Some Like It Hot.
I love it. It’s classy and fits the bill without being in-your-face about the fact we write erotic romances. I hope they keep it and RWA approves it.
