Thursday Three: Best lines

New WIP, new characters and three sentences to share today.

Brekke stepped into her personal space, slipped one hand around her nape and joined their mouths before she could protest. Lesleigh raised her hands to fend him off, but forgot to follow through when his lips proved soft and warm and gentle. Only the one hand and his lips touched her, but Lesleigh felt the impact of that simple kiss in her traitorous curling toes.

Wednesday’s Word: All things Crainesian

Before I moved my blog to WordPress, I used to do an occasional Wednesday’s Word thing, a bit of wordsmithing with words new to me or words I just liked the sound of.

This is the first of my Wednesday’s Word posts featuring new terms from my world of Crainesians. Today’s word is the name of their former world/planet.

Crainesia\ kray nee zee uh (noun)

Annie’s definition: The planet which Crainesians originally inhabited.

As a planet, Cranesia’s makeup was much like Earth, which is why Crainesians chose Earth as their destination when their own world became to unstable for continued habitation.

A letter to Santa

It’s been a long time since I wrote to Santa, but this year I made an exception. Why? Because I had news for him news that will help his elves with their intense schedule. See my ‘Dear Santa’ letter today on my group blog, Petit Fours & Hot Tamales.
