Plotting, jotting and tweaking

In my post titled Foreplay or All The Way? and Foreplay Revisited, I talked about the plotting board. Steph’s comment kind of freed my completely ‘in the box’ way of thinking. Duh! So, I’ve decided to give it another shot.

In my current WIP, Knight in Tarnished Armor ( or KiTA ) I’ve got a pretty broad view of what’s going to happen, but only about 16 concrete scenes in my head and they’re not all in order. So, I’m jotting down the scenes I do have, using the colored sticky notes, trying to keep in mind turning points, etc. Whew! I may become a full-fledged plotter after all.

Chapter One is almost finished. Just needs a little tweaking. 😉

    >So, is it working for you? *g*I think I really just like the pretty sticky notes. Any excuse for more office supplies…

    >Oh, me too. Can’t resist the office supplies allure! LOL But, yeah, it does kinda keep things a bit more organized in my head. Haven’t done much actual writing on it – have been gone on a trip to see the kids.
