Okay, so I posted progress counters on my sidebar and now I never update them. Well, there’s a reason for that. I’m going backwards. No, I’m not erasing the words. Well, maybe I am–sorta. I’m still revising RTP – all 4 chapters that I had done and I’m losing several scenes. It’s not something I do easily so I’m slow at it. Tweaking and layering – yeah – I’m there and loving it. But cutting huge chunks out and patching up my wounded manuscript? Not so much. I actually have about 80 pgs on RTP, but don’t know how much of that will stay, so I’m posting what I know is okay, so far.
I’m only saying all this because I know y’all must cruise by and go… “Hmm. I see she’s not writing.” I’ll get there. Be patient. (I did nudge RTP up a few pages after slogging through Chs. 1 & 2.)
Maybe I’ll take Suzanne’s workshop on Earthly Charms. She has a whole week on getting more productive. I could use it.
Okay, all done with blogging and updating my website. Oh, almost forgot. If you’ve got an extra minute or two, check out my new article, “Got Blog?”, published in this month’s issue of GRW’s newsletter, The Galley.
>Great article – thanks for sharing it!And I know what you mean about the counter going backwards – it hurts SO much to lose pages, but hey, it’s all for the sake of progress.Speaking of which, I guess I’d better go make some…Oh – and congrats on the short story publication too!
