>Tuesday’s Tidbits

>

** Yay! I finished TE yesterday. Today I’m working on the synopsis and query that goes with the submission. I’ve gotten critiques back, edited it. Tomorrow, I submit it to Samhain.

** Submit, submit, submit. That’s my mantra and slogan for 2008. I’ve mapped out my goals for the year, I have the first quarter broken down and I’m working on the weekly requirements that will help me reach the quarterly goal.

** I now have two accountability partners (we check in weekly) and a daily push partner, so I have high hopes for this year’s productivity.

How about you. Do you have a push partner, an accountability partner, or does your critique partner fill all those roles?

    >Carol–you sound really focused and motivated. I love the new year because it means fresh starts. I’ve paired up with someone to stay motivated. We share weekly goals, what works, what doesn’t and hopefully we’ll keep each other on track. I’ve decided last year was about flinging myself at the business of writing and getting some lucky breaks. This year I need to buckle down and capitalize on all I’ve learned. Here’s to 2008 being our year!

    >Thanks, Cat! I hope the motivation partner works for you. That’s the way my accountability partners and I work – weekly goals, report on our progress, etc. Best of luck!
