>Tues Tidbit: Springtime in Wash. D.C.

>

Last week I took a long weekend trip to Washington DC. It was Cherry Blossom Festival Weekend and walking the Tidal Basin was on the agenda. Only it drizzled rain…a lot. So here’s a shot from room where my hubby and I stayed in Crystal City. Cool place if you like highrise living, underground shopping and transit systems. We did make it to one of the Smithsonian galleries and enjoyed a couple of trendy restaurants.
I actually managed to add a few pages to my new WIP, but best of all, I got to spend time with hubby. 🙂

    >This is totally off-topic, but I’m just replying to your latest entry here. 😀 A few months ago you were kind enough to go over a synopsis I’d written as a favor to Linda, and you pointed out the huge glaring problem with the story that needed fixing. And thanks to you we fixed it and found the novella a nice little home. 🙂 So thank you so much for taking the time to help way back in January!-Bree

    >Thank you! Not just for the congratulations, but for reading that synopsis when you didn’t have a clue who we were. 😀 It really meant a lot to us, considering the fact that it was our very first attempt! And you know, you pointed out a big honkin’ plot hole in the middle of the story that turned out to be the biggest thing we needed to fix. So we owe you. 🙂
