Yesterday I dashed into the post office and found inside my box an envelope containing not one, but two copies of a brand-spankin’ new magazine. A lovely surprise. What made this so special? I’m glad you asked. 🙂
1. On top of the magazines was clipped a nice check. (Holy Moly, Batman! I get PAID for this?)
2. My story Gamble on Love is on page 62. I’m in the premiere issue!!!
3. And right there underneath the title, it read “by Carol Burnside.”
While this story isn’t the first story I’ve sold, I’ve rarely gotten a byline. Okay, I confess. Sitting there alone in my car, I choked up. How corny is that?
So if you’re looking for a magazine with good romantic short stories, New Love Stories Magazine is just the thing. It has an especially nice first cover, don’t you think?
