A bunch of nada

That’s what’s in my news – a bunch of nada. lol

Yes, I left that last post up a few days. It’s still valid through the 14th. Just thought I’d pop in and let you know that my kids are coming for a few days, so I’ll be scarce here, mothering, cooking and enjoying them. Actually, I’m expecting my sister and nephew too, so we’ll have a full house!

I’ve often posted menus here, so I’ll tell you what I have planned. One day we’re having a re-do of Christmas dinner since the kids couldn’t get off work to come for the holidays. For us, that’s glazed ham, hot buttered rolls, whipped potatoes, sweet potato delight and green bean casserole.

Another day, we’re having BBQ’d country style pork ribs, fried okra, and corn on the cob (frozen fresh from our garden) and Mac-n-cheese from scratch.

And the last menu I have planned is corned beef and cabbage. Somewhere in there, we’ll also have Southern Pecan Pie, homemade Macaroons and homemade candies. Yum!

That’s my extended weekend plans. What do you have going on?
