My Alamo Thursday at #RWA2014

My Thursday at the RWA 2014 conference included a lot of workshops and a side trip to the Alamo. Honestly, it was only a couple blocks, so Terry Spear, Susan Carlisle and I walked over and enjoyed a little respite from the crowds. Here are a few pictures of the grounds as no pictures are allowed inside.

WP_20140724_010That’s Terry Spear on the Alamo grounds, inside the perimeter walls. It’s a lovely oasis surrounded by modern city.

The beautiful fountain just beyond where Terry is standing. And to the right, flowers as tall as a person. Aren’t they beautiful?

Tomorrow: Friday breakfast meeting and a surprise celebrity author or two.

Glad you enjoyed the Alamo, my son visited when he was in boot camp. Said it was smaller than he thought. Agatha
