Yes, we had snow in Georgia. Hard to believe, I know, so I took a couple pictures of our deck to show those of you who said “Really? Snow in Georgia???”. Of course, it didn’t last long–about an hour one day. Then a couple days later it peppered down overnight but no accumulation to speak of. That’s snow in the deep South, y’all!

Oh, and see that patch of winter grass in the left corner of the pics, just beyond our fence? That’s my neighbors yard, where a herd of deer come to graze every night.

Unfortunately, it has been cold and wet which translates to lots of wet and muddy footprints on Carol’s floor, darn it. I have no time to stop and clean, either. Hip deep in writing and can’t stop until Friday, when I have to do massive cleaning before company comes.

Do you do that too? Just do general cleaning, then the day before someone shows up you scour the place? I hate that, but do it every time. *sigh*
