Ever have one of those OMG… Ewww moments? Like when you catch yourself unaware in the mirror and realize your expression duplicated one you hate on your g’mother/sister/mother? Or you come to the realization you have your father’s nose/toes/ears, and maybe that’s not the most, er… attractive thing about him?
I’ve had several of those in my life, unfortunately.
It didn’t take an Einstein moment to realize I have my dad’s ears, which he obviously got courtesy of his mother. Lucky for my kids, they’ve gotten less prominent and smaller with each generation. I’ve gotten used to them, but still, the tight Audrey Hepburn French twist would NOT be a good look for me.
