Size Matters!
Dylan wants me to call.
Liz and Edgar want to call me. (Geez, I’m popular, ain’t I?)
Apparently blood sugar has secrets ???
And a lost dog has been found on a camel farm…  (Can’t get much more random than that, but, yay for the dog!)

My Alamo Thursday at #RWA2014

My Thursday at the RWA 2014 conference included a lot of workshops and a side trip to the Alamo. Honestly, it was only a couple blocks, so Terry Spear, Susan Carlisle and I walked over and enjoyed a little respite from the crowds. Here are a few pictures of the grounds as no pictures are allowed inside.

The beautiful fountain just beyond where Terry is standing. And to the right, flowers as tall as a person. Aren’t they beautiful?

Tomorrow: Friday breakfast meeting and a surprise celebrity author or two.

Top 3 Wednesday at #RWA2014

Wednesday at #RWA2014 had three major events:

1. Lunch with my son, Jason, at the Rainforest Cafe along the Riverwalk.  WP_20140723_009We took a selfie.

2. My roommate, Susan Carlisle arrived! Yes, this deserves an exclamation mark because she’s awesome and any time we get together is a good time. WP_20140723_010

3. The RWA annual Booksigning for Literacy Event took place on Wednesday evening. HUGE ballroom, huge crowds, madness ensues as readers jostle through the melee to their favorite authors. I wasn’t signing this year, but Susan distributed my bookmarks along with her sexy doctor bookmark. See what I mean? She’s awesome, awesome, awesome!

It was also great to see long time friend and USA Today Bestselling Author, Terry Spear! We made it a point to exchange phone numbers and we met up several times. I loved reconnecting with her and catching up in person. She’s a sweetheart.

Susan and I were delighted to run into a friend from RWA 2012 in Anaheim, Anita Learned. We reminisced about our day on Venice Beach. Fun times!
