Have a cuppa

I’m a tea drinker. Love the stuff. ‘Course I’m from the southern U.S. – we love our iced tea, sweetened, of course. But I’m talking about hot tea. Recently a writing friend (Nancy Bond) recommended a new tea on the market – Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea. OMG! If you like a mild tea you’ll love this. Smooth and lightly sweetened, it is heavenly to smell and drink.

Other favs are Darjeeling, Eng. B’fast, Assam, and Passionfruit. What about you? Have a favorite tea, coffee, or other drink?

    >Coffee in the morning is a definite. But I love Darjeeling. LOVE IT. And Diet Coke always works in a pinch too ;)I don’t know if I like flavored teas – but the white pear sounds interesting. Might have to try that out.

    >Eli: I don’t drink mine near as syrupy as most Southerners do. ;-)Steph: Darjeeling is the best, isn’t it? As I understand it, it’s considered the King of Teas, I guess you’d say – but I love the mild flavor. Guess that’s why I like the pear. The flavoring is very subtle (the white tea is actually the tiniest young tea leaves before they turn) and the antioxidants are supposed to be even more than green tea.

  4. >Thanks for the review of the tea, Carol–I’ve as yet been unable to find it here. They also make a white peach tea which sounds good. I think I’ll order some from CT online. Glad you like it!
