>Is it in the air?

>In my last post I mentioned a fellow chapter mate who’d sold.

This week I have news of another writing friend who got THE CALL. Lynn Raye Harris, who won the Presents contest, has sold her winning manuscript to the Presents line. Go, Lynn! Two more authors to add to my buy list. 🙂 I see my TBR pile growing in the future.

With all the talk of a depressed economy, some conversations I’ve had recently have turned toward how this will affect editors buying new authors. I’m happy to see new sales are still occuring. Maybe there’s hope for me, yet.

  1. >Thanks, Carol! I thought you were out of town, so didn’t know when you’d see my news. 🙂 I emailed so many people, and yeah, I forgot some too. LOL, the brain kind of goes numb after The Call. :)And I know you’re going to get that call too, so keep writing, girlfriend! And I looove your new picture! Very lovely and professional.I think sales are still happening. There were three this past week in the GH finalists email loop. Have you thought of Presents or Modern Heat? They seem to still be looking…. 🙂
