Are you still thinking about setting new goals, making resolutions to change things in 2012? Why not make your goals and resolutions make sense for you and your future? Yesterday, I gave you a method I use to write realistic, attainable goals with measurable progress.
Today I give you food for thought to help you get where you’re going. It takes a few weeks to make a habit of anything. During that period of adjustment, there’s a tremendous tendency to quit. My granny used to say, “Anything worth doing is worth doing right.” So, do this right, and when the going gets tough, think about these quotes:
“Writers write. Wannabes make excuses. …Keep Writing. …Don’t give up.” — Karen A. Fox
“You’ve got to believe if you want to succeed.” ~ J. Laing Burns
Believe in yourself. Try to reach your goals. And when you feel like quitting remember this:
“The force is always with you–so force yourself.”–Harrison Ford on Star Wars.
Good luck with your goals and resolutions. I wish each and every one of you a happy and prosperous 2012.
Great fun quotes. And often I need to remember both of them.
Happy New Year!
