Spooks gone, NaNo begun

Participant badge for NaNoWriMo, November, 2012Spookapalooza is done, winners chosen, winners contacted and NaNo has begun. NaNoWriMo, that is, the annual craziness during which writers all over the world attempt to write 50,000 words in one month. Am I going for it? You bet, though I’m nowhere near a fast enough writer to do 50K in 30 days. Even so, I’m betting I can do a ton better than last month considering all the traveling and being sick afterwards.

I’ve decided to work on two novellas. One–a contemporary erotic romance–needs finishing and I can’t seem to write The End on it. Dang character’s just won’t reveal the perfect ending yet, so I’ll push them. Then I’d like to finish another novella I have about half written. It’s an historical frontier romance with characters I love. If I can come up with the tagline for it, I may reveal the cover art for it this month.

What about you? Have you set any new goals lately? Decided to start a new project of some kind? I’d like to hear about it. We can cheer each other on!

Meanwhile…I’m writing.
