and to increase my productivity for the year. #amwriting every day of this month (I hope). Progress is happening, though I’m not ready to show word counts yet. Maybe when they’re more impressive – nuff said?
Three things I forgot to tell you yesterday:
1. My butt and thighs hurt, which makes it difficult to stay in a chair and write. TMI? Well, before your mind slides in the gutter, I’m sore from horseback riding for two hours on Thursday, when I should have been writing.
Hubby wanted me to get outside and spend some time with him. Because I love him and feared I’d begun to look like one of those albino creatures that live in the back of caves, I went. I enjoyed myself, learned how to groom a horse, and managed to fall while trying to get OFF the horse. Yes, that was awkward and poor, patient José shied away from me as I went down. Thank goodness.
2. Even though we’re headed toward the glut-fest season of the year, I started a diet. Joined Weight Watchers online and bought a whole slew of books and stuff to get going with. I’ve done WW before, but the plan has changed a lot. It’s a bummer that some of my most favorite breakfasts are more points on the new PointsPlus® program. Guess I’ll just have to ride the horses again. That netted me seven activity points. Whoo-hoo!
3. I have news of the bragging-on-offspring variety, but I can’t share it yet. Yeah, I know. That was mean. More about this at a later date.
Good luck! I respect you for taking on a diet at the same time you’re kicking off NaNo…
