>First of all, I must sincerely apologize for deserting my blog. All I can offer in way of explanation is that the moving process took over my life.
We’ve been in the house three weeks now. Friends keep asking if I’m all settled in. After only three weeks? They must be delusional. I’ll be happy if I’m completely settled in after three months. There’s just too much stuff and too many rooms, too much furniture in some areas and too little in others. Only the extra furniture won’t work in the rooms that don’t have any. Then there’s the new house/all cream walls thing that’s screaming at me because I love color. Moving also brings to light the things that we ignore previously. Like that shabby comforter set that I thought I could get another year out of. Another decor to completely re-do. And so it goes…
Ah well, one good thing that’s happening today – my new office furniture is supposedly being delivered. Yay! For the first time, I’ll actually have one whole room dedicated to my office. (imagine me sighing happily here)
