Huzzah! Yay!! Whoo-hoo!!! I’m a Camp NaNoWriMo WINNER! Doing the Snoopy dance here.

Yep, that about covers how I feel about meeting my Camp NaNoWriMo goal without fudging like a lot of people do during the November version.

No adding my grocery list.
No lists of favorite movies/books/cuss words or whatever.
No figuring in the word counts from my blog posts (even though I’m making an effort to blog more often – did you notice???) or e-mails or social media messages.

None of that. In actual manuscript words and pages, I met my 20,000 word goal for this month and am feeling rather proud of myself. The house is a wreck, but I did keep up with the garden harvesting, washing and preserving the produce.

Wish I had a shiny new badge to go with it, but the NaNo folks haven’t unveiled them yet. Gotta wait five more days for the ‘spoils’ of my labor. Oh, well. Still doing the Snoopy dance!

Gotta scram and get ready for house guests tomorrow…
