1. Open a new file in your PC.
2. Name it “Housework.”
3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN
4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN
5. Your PC will ask you, “Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?”
6. Calmly answer, “Yes,” and press the mouse button firmly……
7. Feel better?

>Ever had one of those days when it seems logical thinking has left your brain, maybe even the building? LOL! That’s me today. Scatterbrained. Frazzled. Off-kilter. Call it what you will. I’m definitely not firing on all cylinders.
Late last night I posted a chapter for my crit group. First thing today, I decide to revise it – had a sudden inspiration. **rolling eyes** So, I make the changes and do a quick repost with explanation, only to realize it’s in the wrong format.
I’ve been printing my revised chapters to put in a 3-ring binder. Without thinking, I’d reformatted Ch. 7 to single space and to fit 2 pgs on a single page landscaped–like an open book. Font is at 9 pt. They’ll have to blow it up 150% just to read it.
Sheesh! Where’s my brain? Anybody seen it?

My first project for the year is finished–the Member Milestones column for Passionate Ink’s newsletter. This one for the period of October-December, 2005. I receive e-mails from the members and compile all the good news into categories like First Sale, FABulous Reviews, New Websites, and Agents Landed! Who knew there were such prolific and talented writers in PI? Well, I did, but didn’t expect to get all the information at the last minute. LOL! After a reminder from Kirsten Griffone (aka Jeanne Laws), our newsletter editor, my Inbox was flooded.
End result?

2 partials and 1 full request
4 Finalists in the EPPIE’s

Whew! And that’s just the people who saw the reminder and responded in time.
