Like a dog with a bone

That’s me. Dog with bone–chewing away at revising this manuscript. At this point I’m writing more new stuff than I am revising draft and it’s slow going. There’s still parts of the original I’ll use, but not a lot.

I’ve discovered that if I just keep pushing each day, immersing myself in the characters, my notes and reading the synopsis, the overall story becomes clearer. Hopefully, I write the scenes with more purpose and it’s not as dry and blah as it seems as it appears on the screen. At least the characters are still talking to me and their story is still burning to be told. If only life didn’t keep interrupting my writing time.

But I must return to it now. I’m determined to have a polished 2nd full draft of this manuscript finished before Nov. 15. Oh, crap, that’s not much time.

So tell me, how’s your writing/work/latest project going?
